      Bequests

The following illustration represents a combination of several stories shared by faithful supporters of Family Research Council. The names and pictures in the story are not that of actual FRC partners.

Shortly after Family Research Council began its work in 1983, Joe and Barb found FRC shared common values with them. Because of these shared values, they began supporting FRC on a regular basis.

Joe: Many years ago, Barb and I decided to become part of the Family Research Council mission. We believe they are truly protecting, defending and advancing the values of faith family and freedom. This made for a natural partnership with us, so Barb and I have made gifts over the years to help. FRC gives us an articulate voice in Washington D.C.

Barb: We wanted to do more than to just make gifts, but we only have so much money in our check book. Joe and I have been careful over the years and have accumulated some resources. We plan to be generous with family, but we also recognize we have the ability to be generous with ministries and organizations we value.

After talking it over, we decided to leave a bequest in our will. Our attorney took the simple language available from Family Research Council and included a nice bequest. We have since learned we now qualify as members in the Arms of Moses Legacy Society. More importantly, we are delighted that once we are no longer around, we will still be able to convey our values to future generations.

If you want to include an easy bequest for Family Research Council in your will, the language below can assist you in this process.

It may be helpful to select the "print" button on the top of your screen to print this page. Then, you can just show it to your attorney or professional advisor.

If he or she has any questions, please have them contact Chris Curry at phone number 877-372-0804 or e-mail us at frcgiving@frc.org.

Please note: Joe and Barb are merely a representation of a typical supporter of Family Research Council. Since the charitable purpose of your bequest may be different from this scenario, you may want to contact us or call toll free 877-372-0804 to discuss a bequest.

You also may want to make it easy and convenient to have a bequest included in your will. The sample language below shows how a bequest can very easily be included in your will.

You might find it helpful to select the "print" button on the top of your screen and print this page. You may feel free to give this page to your attorney. If he or she has any questions, please have them contact Chris Curry at phone number 877-372-0804 or e-mail us at frcgiving@frc.org.
